I'm home for another day or so... I love college but being home is
nice. Just thought I'd share all that oh-so-extensive amount of
my life with you... just wanted to say hey to all you kids who still
read this thing. Share the love... GO BLUE. Come visit me
in Ann Arbor!

| So this is the last time I'll be writing in my Xanga. College is
wonderful, and I hope as many of you who are reading this can visit me
up here in Michigan. I miss you all dearly. I've been
working really hard... in fact this is mid-term week and I have two in
the next couple days before I am unencumbered by them until finals in
December. Things have been going well... going to football and
hockey games, meeting people, doing my dorms multicultural council,
bowling club among other things. Last night I went to the
midnight showing of Donnie Darko at the State Theatre, it was sweet...
director's cut and all, and the State Theatre is old and so cool.
The weather is getting colder, and I love this temperature. The
high 40's tend to put me in good moods... I'm such an autumn
person! Anyways, I miss you NFTY and high school kids a great
deal. I've been homesick periodically, though I trully do love it
here. My classes too are for the most part interesting. I'm
doing REALLY well and enjoying Sociology (which is good because it's
probably going to be my major) and I'm thinking about a double major
with English or... maybe just a minor, we'll see. Anyways, please
please please drop me a line (I'll check if you leave comment on this
but like I said, I don't really have the time to keep up to date with
this anymore)... but e-mail me and tell me all about your lives...
bkauf@umich.edu. Keep smiling :)

| - The Angels (Wanna Wear my Red Shoes)
It's early but it's the only time I could get online in between
classes, reading, hanging around in the dorm and what not.
College is still good... lots of work, but still good. Getting
closer with a bunch of people, but I still miss everyone back home and
I'm sorry I haven't kept up as much but I'm really trying to adjust as
quickly as I can (it's harder than you'd think) so that I can better be
able to chat with everyone. Much love!

I'm tired as all hell and I have over 60 pages of reading to do this
weekend. My cousin is here, we're playing NOTRE DAME in football
tomorrow, and I have a meeting for Bursley Family (my residence hall's
multicultural council) on Sunday night. I also have two huge
blisters that are literally, no joke, keeping me from walking... at
least without pain... and we're talking LOTS of pain. Classes are
okay... I prefer some to others... I'm picking up Hebrew really
quickly, Sociology I have a great professor and GSI (graduate student
instructor), Philosophy is so-so... somewhat boring to start with, and
Religion is just kicking my ass with reading... three lectures a week
and there is a reading basically every night. As far as clubs...
the Bursley Family thing is soon, and I'm going to mass meetings for
Reform Chavurah, Bowling Club, and maybe College Dems (I registered to
vote in Michigan!). Festifall was awesome... SO many crazy kinds
of clubs all having tables out in the diag for like 8 hours
yesterday... so much fun to walk around... until the blister
situation... sigh. I need to have some fun this weekend... this
week was ROUGH. Notice I haven't been around much? I
apologize... I'm just adjusting to the class part a bit slower than I
thought. I'll update more here and there when I can... but I'm
probably going to stop at some point because there's not much a point
in writing if I don't have much time and people don't really read
it. Miss you guys. Come visit me.
